Webtoons Return to the 2026 Frankfurt Book Fair

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world’s biggest publishing trade fair with thousands of exhibitors and visitors, and the dates have been set for October 7 to the 11th for 2026.
I’ve been twice specifically to talk to European and American publishers as a representative of two separate webtoon companies and it’s always been a great opportunity to network in the licensing field.
While Korean webtoon publishers have been attending for several years, last year was the first year that the Frankfurt Book Fair created a separate space specifically for companies, studios, and publishers in the webtoon industry.
Last year, six exhibitors from Korea, Taiwan, the UK, Italy, India and France came together to highlight the diversity, creativity and strong market momentum of the webtoon, webcomic and digital comics industries.
The webtoon exhibition zone includes one table, 4 chairs, and shelving with additional options available upon request for €1,785. This includes access to teh fair’s professional database along with 2 exhibitor badges.
This includes on-site refreshment, preferential daily visitor rates, personalized support for organizing or participipating in a panel at a preferential rate as well as an after-event for webtoon industry insiders.
